The following pictures depict some of the ferry movements during the July holiday period.  All pictures Larne Ferry Web (click to enlarge)

European Causeway arrives at MacKean Quay at 1830 on 11/7/06 - her final crossing prior to standing down from service for a few days off for maintenance.  European Mariner can be seen loading at Chaine Quay for Troon as cruise ship Athena was on the Mariner's usual loading berth at Curran Quay.
After discharging her cargo and after the departure of Athena, European Causeway shifted down to Curran Quay to undergo maintenance work on 11/7/06 until she re-entered service with the 0730 from Larne on the 13/7/06.
Shortly after noon on the 12/7/06 and left to right: European Causeway is at Curran Quay undergoing a dive survey of her hull; European Highlander is loading for the 1330 to Cairnryan; Express on Chaine Quay is loading for the 1255 to Cairnryan while Stena Seafarer is at Continental Quay.  The 'Seafarer later sailed for Fleetwood in place of Stena Leader at 1945.

On the 13/7/06, European Mariner is pictured at Larne arriving from Cairnryan with the 1330 sailing.

Pictured bow in at Curran Quay the European Mariner spends some of her down time on the 17/7/06 undergoing maintenance work. Whilst providing relief cover at Cairnryan the Mariner has become quite a bit more busy compared to her single round trip on the Troon freight service.
