| In these two views of Stena
Seafarer's aft end work is underway to service all her propulsion
and steering systems. As can be seen here the stern ramp on this
ship is separate to the watertight door which is a classic Stena 1970's
'fold in half up and over door' also seen on the Searunner class built
in South Korea during 1977-1978. 'Seafarer's Fleetwood
based sister ships Stena Pioneer and Stena Leader just
have a ramp which when closed becomes the watertight stern
door. |

| On the left a crew member's car catches
a lift onto the ship by means of crane while on the right a number of
engineering contractors are suspended in mid air as they use the same
crane to hitch a lift over the dock abyss. |
